1. my only warning for light sleepers to avoid aggravation is to request a room away from the main level (3rd floor) which can get quite noisy with children running back and forth at all hours of the day and night especially when the parks stay open until 2am.

4. If you stay at the lodge, the third floor hallway sounds like a herd of stampeding elephants all day and night so if you do decide to go, avoid rooms there like the plague.

6. As above, if you want a proper sit down breakfast in the morning you will need to book Boma for every day to avoid disappointment as the walk in wait can be about 90 mins otherwise.

7. There are many opportunties to view the animals so we didn`t feel deprived, but I would definteily avoid a parking lot view.

8. So, some words of advice to avoid frustration, is if you are planning to get back to the Lodge, or you are planning to get to any park from the Lodge, at a specific time, allow yourself plenty of time to do so.
