If anything, the state of the hammam is better now than a couple of years ago (and was never that bad), and we found the complimentary continental breakfast extremely generous (note to the previous reviewer: you can substitute yogurt with fruit and granola for that all-carb Continental if you want.

2. Face it, no matter where you stay in Miami, service is generally bad, since hiring criteria in the Miami hotel market seem to put looks high up on the list.

5. It is, in a quiet and simple way relaxing and not a bad value for the money but no one seemed to be having fun - or at least I wasn't - and I wouldn't stay there again.

After calling and emailing the general manager and her assistant several times, I finally got an email from her several days later, apologizing for the bad service, and saying that they would credit my account for just the spa service, and also invited us down for a comp weekend on them sometime after I had 'calmed down'.
