Aside from the first floor, there was a musty or moldy
odor
through the hallways, in our hotel room, and bizarrely enough, even more so in the hotel room's closet.

It appears freshly painted and both room and bathroom, also on the small side, but with a full tub/shower, are very clean and show absolutely no sign of mildew or
odor
, as reflected in some previous comments.

The rooms were very clean - but ours smelled fairly moldy - we had to turn the AC down to 60 to get rid of the
odor
and damp wetness feeling in the room (in dry February.

We were successful eventually in getting the
odor
out but there was nothing we could do to rid the room of the tired furnishings and fixtures (wide screen tv notwithstanding) that must have dated back at least 15 years as well as the continued nautical theme of u-boat piping along the ceiling or the bugs and chipped plaster in the corner of the closet.

when something gets wet and sits out.
