1. Things are a little more expensive in Hawaii - but it is a group of islands in the middle of the pacific.

2. Drinks at the resort bar were also pretty expensive - so we went to the whalers village (right next door) and bought what we wanted and kept it in the room fridge and kept a few in a small cooler.

The hotel ground is very well maintained, with waterfalls, flamingos, ducks, koi fishs, parrots and a few shops (one coffee place that does starbucks coffee)The hotel is expensive (but they are all) however it is litterally next door to the Whalers shopping center which has an ABC store and few restaurants.

7. one note, one of our beds was a bit saggy (so we put the kids on that one -- but I hate to experiene that, it does color my stay) and two, the food/breakfast is very expensive.

8. we had been here so many times, we know the rooms were great -- but this time, we booked 'Club Level' that had a private lounge, served cokes and snacks all day, great -- and club level rooms, being more expensive, and including a happy hour, are always nicer, right? wrong.
