1. The surf is too rough many months of the year for swimming, and the sea water in February was too cold for most to even consider putting their feet in.

4. Grounds are great, pool and hot tubs nice, Kalapaki beach was super, but the waves got a litlle stronger as the week came to an end, and for a non-surfer, that got a bit rough.
