As the hotel wasn't crowded, that wouldn't have been a
big deal
except the part of the pool deck that was blocked off was the 75% of the area next to the pool.

Paying an extra $6-$8 per day when compared to what the room costs you each night or to how much the flight over cost you is NOT A BIG DEAL.
