So, we had no serious complaints, a few small ones (inconveniences, mostly) but we also had no great experience, and continually felt like the price was incredibly steep (it's all steep on Waikiki, but this seemed worse than usual) for the lack of services, lack of amenities, and unspectacular location.

4. So overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Beachcomber & I would recommend it but advise staying on a high floor & on the Diamond Head side for the view & lack of noise.
