1. Because we were so close to the very popular Cheesecake Factory we were able to run across the street to put our name down for dinner, took our flashy beeper back to the hotel and avoided the 45 minutes wait on the sidewalk like everyone else.

3. You could hear noise from the 'back up beepers' but based on all the activity we observed throughout Waikiki, I think it would be hard to avoid this sound in almost any location.

4. I emailed the hotel a few weeks before our visit and explained the situation and asked for two things: one that our rooms be on the same floor and two that we have a higher floor to avoid the street noise and to at least give my parents somewhat of a view for their last time in Hawaii.

5. Parking is limited and the spaces are very small, so you may want to avoid anything larger than a SUV (Trailblazer, Explorer, Jeep etc.
