If you want a DELICIOUS steak and wonderful ambiance, go to Hy's Steakhouse - it is
expensive
, but worth it for a one time meal.

We wanted to stay right on Waikiki beach, so we did a lot of research, but all the rooms were booked up, too
expensive
($300/nt +), or low class, so we ended up here, and we were very glad we did.

The pool and hot tub were nice, and the bar was convenient (although
expensive
) for drinks.

After visiting many hotels in many countries and locations for many years this was the most
expensive
hotel I have stayed in at average $220 per night including taxes and I expected a reasonably nice room for this price.

However, because we were aware of the parking fee from reading reviews from fellow posters on Trip Advisor, parking was built in as a fixed

Finally on price of about $250 per night in my view was
expensive
in comparison to what other hotels had on offer and again it shows that allegiance to a particular hotel brand is not always the best way to choose a holiday hotel vacation when price is not really the main criteria.
"Its not the Ritz but it has its good points and its bad ones also. "

Valet parking is
expensive
, but you wouldn't necessarily need a car there.

Give Jimmy Buffet's (onsite) a miss - very disappointing, rowdy,
expensive
for poor quality.
