1. - The windows whistled loudly in the living room when the wind blew, which was pretty much all night and the A/C was the window mounted style which was really loud.

4. The air conditioning unit sit inches above the floor and is so loud it can't be on whilst being in the room and who in their right mind would put an airconditioning unit on the floor, cold air sinks, so the cold air stayed at floor level never getting to a height to cool the room down.
