1. We're happy campers, so for the price it didn't matter if the apartment is a bit dated; we didn't see any bugs or roaches.

2. As other people noted, the rooms are a bit dated, and the TV sets very 1995, but if you are in Honolulu, there is more to do than watch TV.

3. You didn't come to Honolulu to stay in your room all day did you? Rooms are a bit dated, seems like an older apartment, with stove, microwave, and sink.
