1. Maybe these owners/managers feel they can get away with poor quality and questionable service when tourists are plentiful, but that may not always be the case.

10. I read some rather poor reviews about the rooms at the Pacific beach Hotel, but the best I could tell they were in the other part and not in the 'beach tower' which has all ocean FRONT, not ocean view rooms.
