1. Like I said, it has it's faults, but when you look at the big name prices - they are hard to justify.

2. It's hard to justify the prices that the hotels charge in Waikiki - your Sheration's, Marriott's etc are stark rooms with a ridiculous price tag, so we chose the 3 1/2 star Pacific Beach Hotel - right across the road from the beach, close to everthing.

7. With such a wonderful location in Waikiki--directly across the street from Kuhio beach--I have a hard time believing this hotel can stay in business much longer without a massive overhaul.

9. Dust hung from the ceilings, hair was everywhere in the bathroom, the tub was stained from age, water temp was insipid at best, the mattresses were hard and slid all over, making sleep difficult, and the sheets have rips.
