1. Our room had a distinctive mildew odor which I find unacceptable in a 4-star property and indicates poor A/C maintenance.

2. We did not encounter any 'mold' smells, but for everyone traveling to the tropics, please understand that mold and mildew are the norm in this part of the world -- lots of water in the air.

9. In all, the hotel was a little shabby around the edges - carpet slightly stained, light mildew in the shower, musty smelling.

10. The rooms do have lovely views of the harbor with large opening windows, but our room was very musty/mildew smelling and the decorating needed to be updated for what they are charging for these rooms.
