We were usually gone sightseeing and doing tours so it was not a
big deal
that the hotel didn't have a restaurant that we liked.

This is not a
big deal
though, because the rest of the walk is along a nice serene canal that puts you right behind the convention center in 5 mins.

The only negative thing I noted was the furniture in our room was pretty beaten up & could stand to be replaced, but that was no

.

The only drawback is it is a little bit away from Waikiki where all the shops and actions are but the hotel runs a shuttle every 30 minutes so this really wasn't a
big deal
for us.
