The Place d'Armes is located in one of the nicer areas of the French Quarter, so we didn't feel
uncomfortable
walking around the area at night.

Should we return to NOLA I would most likely try another place due to the
uncomfortable
beds.

The room was deperately in need of an update,

We decided to check out due to the
uncomfortable
feeling, and as we were gathering our belongings and about to leave, we were in the bathroom and right in front of us something or someone, sounded like a little boy went pee right in front of us.

Others have commented on the mattresses and I have to say it was one of the most lumpy and
uncomfortable
I have slept in and dearly needs replacing.

The worst thing about the hotel and for me the only real negative point worth taking into account given the price and location was the sleep quality; the bed was small and
uncomfortable
and the aircon was very noisy, although there was no street noise at all.

The king sized bed was comfortable but the sleeper was not so bottom line is that if you are planning to put more than two people in the 'suite' prepare the one who sleeps on the sleeper sofa to be
uncomfortable
.
