1. I stayed in a smoking room, but I've stayed in smoking rooms before and they almost never had any bad smell.

3. The rooms were a good size but it had a peculiar smell to it (perhaps because it was a smoking floor) and the carpeting was very old and dated, but otherwise the rooms were very clean.

10. From the curtains that did not even attempt to block sunlight, to the slightly smokey smell of the room, to the total lack of soundproofing (with a group of noisy drunk students down the hall), every aspect of my room was a bit below standard.
