1. The second is that there are few amenities; no coffee makers in the rooms, only a very expensive mini-bar for snacks (no small store area which I've had in other boutique hotels).

3. It was not my favorite Kimpton property the 1st time around, but for some reason on the night I needed a room virtually everything was booked and what was left over was extremely expensive (including Helix--but it was less so than the only other Kimpton in town with room available).
