The only disappointing aspect of this hotel is that it doesn't offer
complimentary
tea and coffee in the hotel rooms (there is tea and coffee available in the room but you have to pay for it) - this is something we'd expect from a four star hotel.

The Donovan House has a
complimentary
happy hour every evening - beer, wine, and apps that I got to take advantage of, so that was cool.

We liked the modern decor, however the funny plastic shower only emitted a very weak spray, and there was no
complimentary
tea or coffee.

The morning breakfast buffet was very decent, if you have a room rate that includes
complimentary
breakfast, but it is not worth paying for (just over $20) imho.
"trendy boutique hotel, some problems, but great value "
