1. The decor is retro-cool, but everything is shabby - paint, carpet, tile, rotting wood.

2. They've removed refrigerators and microwaves from many of the rooms, they removed the hot tub, and some of the decor is a bit stark, but the new beds are very comfortable, and the rooms now come with a flat screen TV and a clock-radios that has an iPod dock.
