6. Only thing I could say is if you want to stay within walking distance of restaurants/shops there is a Hyatt in downtown San Diego next to the Seaport shops.

7. Since we have young children, the next time I stay in the area, I'd rather stay someplace within walking distance to a park or at least some inexpensive restaurants.

9. There`s a bunch of stuff nearby - CPK, Islands and a movie theatre are all within walking distance of the hotel (granted, you have to go across to the other side of the 5 Frwy.

10. in our case we asked several times, pointed it out, was told the gal was new and the two guys standing around did not want to tell her how to do her job so we decided to walk to get our car ourselves.
