5. We asked for reservations on two restaurants which we were told didn't do dinners and when we turned up in person found out they did (but with walk in reservations), concierge should really have known this about popular venues in La Jolla.

9. Located next to Hwy 5, the hotel is convenient to access La Jolla, Torrey Pines Reserve, beaches and is close to the Whole Foods, Peets Coffee, etc. Guests also have access to the Sporting Club for about 10$ a visit (the prices on Hyatt concierge website are outdated) which is an independent high-end gym as well as free pool.
