The Hyatt has excellent freeway access, a pleasant lobby with courteous front desk staff, clean and modern rooms, a well appointed gym (for free on site--the adjacent sports club has a daily fee), a large pool good for swimming laps or goofing off (also free, shared with the sports club), and an attractive and large hot tub.

4. Einsteins, etc. With a location right off the freeway but with no noise, this is a great choice for inland La Jolla and visiting San Diego.
