1. With the help from the front desk we used public transportation to go to downtown San Diego ( $5 person for all day usage).

7. During non-rush hours, you're only 7 minutes from I-5 (aka 'the 5'), only 15-20 minutes from downtown San Diego & airport to the South, and from LaJolla to the North.

8. We both feel we got lucky that our training happened to coincide with a 32,000 member conference that was occurring in San Diego at the same time because that mean we had to look beyond the immediate downtown (Gaslamp) training area for accommodations.
