2. Bottom line, if you are traveling on business and don't mind driving an extra 10 minutes, I would personally recommend the nearby Hilton Garden Inn or Doubletree hotels - you'll save money on the room rate and get free parking, plus you will have a newer room and a far superior breakfast in the morning, with equally friendly and helpful staff.

3. Pros:- The hotel layout, room layout and free breakfast - as with all Embassy Suites - Although parking was $20.00 (get over it - its La Jolla) the parking was very convenient- No issues with noise, comfortable beds and pillows Cons: - The cleaning was not thorough (although we are a bit extreme - we bring sheets, pillow covers and wipe everything down with alcohol.

7. The only negative thing I can think of is the $20 per night parking fee, but there is plenty of street parking.
