1. There are plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance; a little Thai place, Miguels Mexican, Bali Hai (good happy hour) etc..

2. The SS Midway was very interesting and within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants etc. Fabulous Sunday brunch at the Bali Hi on Shelter Island Drive, champagne included-what a treat.

4. It was a beautiful hotel, well cared for, great service, nice pools, close to downtown and other attractions, quiet, awesome views of downtown and the bay, great areas to walk, a playground for children, close to starbucks and I could go on and on.
