1. The hotel has a pool and a gym and cycle hire is availabe, opposite the hotel is a pier that you can fish from free of charge so a nice way to relax for an hour or two.

3. first room was to the front, but because of naval helicopter noise across the bay (post Bin Laden/ SEALS etc heightened security) they were happy to move us to the back, overlooking the marina, for no extra charge, when I know from booking this room was more expensive.

7. There was no charge for parking which is almost always charged from my research at the downtown hotels.

8. At checkout there was a glitch with the charge to my card (I use a debit card) and I spoke with Sean (the manager) and he immediately cleared up the problem with my bank.
