1. There is also a bus stop right there that goes in Downtown San Diego, convenient way to avoid drinking/driving at night.

4. Nice gardens and patios to enjoy your breakfast or in the evening order yourself a pizza and a bottle of wine from 1 of the many takeaways that will deliver to the hotel reception ,When downtown I recomend the Fish Market Resturaunt next to the midway for an excellent meal.

5. We drove to Fashion Valley Mall at Friars Road (about 10 minutes) to catch the trolley into the city, which was a better option for us than driving into downtown.

6. We rented a car, and were able to drive no more than 10 miles in different directions to get to East Mission Bay, downtown and the Gaslamp, Sea World, and the ferry to Coronado.
