1. The mexican restaurant on site was very good and it was quite delightful to site on the outside patio and eat while watching the peacocks stroll across the lawn.

2. Keep in mind that in San Antonio the Riverwalk itself is very touristy, and you'll generally find better restaurants and bars if you branch out away from the river.

4. It has a drop dead gorgeous courtyard with exotic birds roaming in it, trees, historic exercise room, beautiful pool and hot tub, across the street from the HemisFair Park, two blocks from some of the best restaurants in San Antonio, just a couple blocks from the Alamo, and much more.

7. We were there for a convention and the meals served at the convention were better than the meals received in the restaurant.
