The front desk had to be reminded that the group had negotiated a
discount
ed rate for overnight parking, which unless members of the group specifically pointed out to the front desk, they were charged the rack rate for parking (and this was after the front desk was told several times that the group had been given the
discount
ed rate).

I must note, too, that the university gets a substantial
discount
for rooms--I would possibly reconsider if I had to pay over $200.
