1. An enjoyable experience including the food and restaurant service which were excellent- our waitress Dana was terrific and the restaurant manager fantastic and clearly very on top of things.

2. Have been pleasantly surprised with upgraded accomodations, to a note and complimentary snack from the Manager, we plan to return again and enjoy this hotel .

3. All in all we recieved signed cards from the manager and our waitress (wishing happy anniversary), free choclates, free chocolate cake, small bottle of champaign (though we don't drink) and the snuck in and turned on some classical music while we were out.

4. The general manager, Dave Murray, sincerely cares that you have the best experience ever, and that culture is carried through the entire staff and the restaurant and bar in-house.

It started from the moment we arrived and continued to the last second of our visit and in fact they have continued their unmatched service after our return by the Manager personally following up with us on our visit and ensuring we are lifetime fans of the River Place Hotel and Kimpton Hotels as well.

7. We were a large group of runners, for the Portland Marathon (over 50 staying at the hotel) and the manager and personal had all kind of nice details for us.
