1. Market Street is a block away with great shopping.
"Great Location for Walking to Rittenhouse Square! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/23/2010 Vote
2. Coming from the airport and getting out at suburban station it was a bit of a walk to the hotel (but since it was sunny weather that wasn't a problem for me) So maybe (when with more than one) to take a cab or so from the street to the hotel.
"Good hotel at a good location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/28/2009 Vote
3. There was a great bakery and coffee shop a couple of doors down 17th Street.
"Delightful hotel in central location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/2/2009 Vote
4. Also, just up the street is a fantastic bakery, Miel.
"Right in the center of Philly " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/6/2008 Vote
5. The location of the hotel is great - close to Walnut Street, with shops/restaurants, as well as Rittenhouse Square.
"Surprisingly good " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/5/2008 Vote
6. We arrived having booked a Plaza Level room which turned out not to be as spacious as expected for a multiple night stay -- we were issued an Executive King room instead for a much better price -- great room, fridge, flat screen TV, walk-in closet, etc. Location of the hotelon Locust & 17th means you are close to so much -- especially dining; yet not bothered by street noise.
"Fabulous Value & Stay! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/24/2007 Vote

9. I did get a great rate through Priceline for room by making reservation several months in advance requesting a room with Double Beds, but soon found out that special rate ( Hotwire, Priceline) means small room with Queen/King size bed in alley way looking over dumpster with paper thin walls so you can enjoy the love and affections of the room next door while you try watch Sessame Street.
"So! So! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/2/2011 Vote
10. The people at the desk were amazingly helpful with all our questions about where to eat, etc. The only downside to this hotel is the valet parking - the front of the hotel is right on a busy street and there is never anywhere to pull your car over for the valet.
"At first horrid, but the staff saved the day... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/23/2010 Vote
