1. All of the shops and restaurants are on your doorstep and there is a fantastically cheap Walmart round the corner on turkey lake rd.

2. Two huge wal marts nearby,Turkey Lake road store is huge and only 3 mins in the car,Sand Lake road is 10 mins away but its on the same stretch as the Florida Mall so is handy if you want both.

3. Just across Sand Lake Rd is a Walgreens for any snacks, drinks etc. Golden Corral for a good Buffet meal.

The staff do not have much if ANY knowledge of the local area aside from the parks - godforbid you ask for some information on other things to do like state parks, lakes etc FYI we found some lovely stateparks to visit I would start with LAKE LOUISA ask the business centre to print you directions - once you are there they will give you a map and info on all other similar reserves in florida.

6. Walgreens store again just across sand lake road is cheaper for most stuff than the shop in the hotel but hotel shop is great for water, milk etc. Perkins just across I drive is great for a burger and does fab muffins perfect for breakfast on the go.

7. There's a huge Walmart within 5 minutes drive on Turkey Lake road for anything you want from food to bullets.

8. be careful and try not to stay the side of the salt lake restaurant as they have deliveries every weekday morning from 4.30am.

9. The Quality Inn is located at a busy junction (International Drive and Sand Lake Road) - depending on which end of the hotel you are located, you could be disturbed by traffic waiting at the junction.

My wife and I would recommend this hotel for the following reasons: Value for money, good sized clean rooms; good sized pool with plenty of sunbeds and free towels; good location being near Sand Lake Road (Walmart Supercentre & Florida Mall) walking distance to Turkey Lake Road (a different Walmart (Supercentre) and a decent sized Dollar Tree) near lots of restaurants and fast food outlets and lastly very helpful front desk staff.
