1. At least the Doubletree was decent enough to charge only half price in the light of the trouble I'd had.

2. Also, whoever is in charge of cleaning the 4th floor rooms don't do a very good job of cleaning, because for 2 days in a row, our rooms failed to be cleaned.

I truly thought such a high-profile chain would understand that this, for most travelers (especially mid-week) is more necessity than luxury, but if they just are not making enough money on the room rate to cover the added expense, I would much rather they hike the rate $10-15 per day instead of adding the charge like this.
