1. The location was great, easy walking distance to Harrah's, Riverwalk, French Quarter, etc. There was also a great bar (Howlin' Wolf), right behind the hotel that we went to a few times.

4. At the time we were there, the lobby bar was applying for their liquor license, but was open (?) and had NCAA football on a flatscreen- this is New Orleans and there are many better places (within walking distance) to drink than any hotel bar.
