1. The hotel rate was fine until we had to pay a decent amount each night to park in the Sheraton's lot and also for internet access in the room since we were on a floor higher than the second floor.

Parking is also really expensive - $20 a day to self park and valet is an extra $4 a day, but the convieniece of being downtown may be worth it - we went to a concert at Bridgestone Arena where they were charging $30 parking, so even if you were to stay at a further out, and less expensive hotel, you would end up paying more for parking downtown if you want to park close to the venue (cheaper parking is avaliable in the library parking lot on 6th and Church I think).
