1. The lobby is nicely decorated and the rooms are reasonably comfortable, minus the big hole in the wall (not what you expect for the star rating).
"Wouldn't stay at the Hotel Preston again! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/28/2012 Vote
2. The lobby and the rooms looked great, as long as you didn't look too hard.
"Attempting to be a luxury hotel and kinda failing.... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/7/2012 Vote
3. There was a HUGE fail in the ceiling of the lobby.

4. Looks cool from the outside and in the lobby, even the elevator has red cow hide panels, however when you exit the elevator you are greeted by drab dimly lit corridors and the guestrooms are just as bad.

5. The hotel lobby is decorated nicely with trendy upscale colors and furniture.
"Decent, but not a "boutique" hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/10/2011 Vote
6. The lobby is the best think about the entire hotel because it is being kept up to date.
"A budget hotel trying to look like a moderate hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/28/2011 Vote
7. From entering the fun, hip lobby and dealing with the awesome staff at check-in you will head up to a room that can be filled with ANY amenity you could think of- just call ahead and they'll have it all ready.
"Elegant, Fun, Great Staff, only a few cons " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/25/2011 Vote
8. Interesting - lots of cool art, but not the cleanest - the carpets - couches/chairs in the lobby, elevators - everything seemed dirty; the maids did clean our room - but even when we first got there, could tell the coffee pot in the room & probably the cups, too, just got a quick rinse - rust?on bottom of bathroom door - holes in caulk around the shower; beds were SUPER comfy; no fan in bathroom; nice outdoor pool (not heated); the front desk was very nice and helpful - happy to send us up towels when we went swimming & extra coffee packets; nice bar/lounge in hotel with live music/no cover (like all of the bars in Nashville); 10 or 15 minute ride to downtown - would have preferred to stay downtown, safe neighborhood but not much around the hotel - definitely need a rental car if you're staying there; overall, neat place (with the art/decor) but not the cleanest - okay if you're on a budget & not expecting too much - I'd probably rather stay at a cheaper but cleaner chain hotel if I went back or a more expensive place in the city.
"Kinda cool but not the greatest " Read full review on Expedia   9/29/2010 Vote
9. RED cowhide on the elevators walls, fun pictures in the lobby, the room was very crisp.
"Fun place to stay! " Read full review on Expedia   8/18/2010 Vote
10. The lobby had a great retro, Music City vibe and the elevators were room key-activated, which as a single women traveling alone added an extra bit of security.
