1. We usually stay in 'budget' hotels on our travels (LaQuinta, Holiday Inn, Days Inn, et cetera), but have been known to stay at boutique or luxury hotels when we find a really good deal (The Loews Philadelphia, the Cornhusker in Lincoln, et cetera).
