9. The Lobby is cozy, our room was well appointed with spacious bathroom that had separate tub and shower, a breathtaking view of the Mississippi river from the rooftop of the Hotel and excellent and sophisticated restaurant with truly the best steaks we have had anywhere.

10. People are sweet and even though they were full up they went out of their way to change my room so I could have a wished-for bath-tub (the otherwise hip recent renovation has placed contemporary steam showers in most of the rooms, but I'm a soaker).
