1. This occurred with no further problems, although the $30 charge was still on my bill when I went to check out three days later.

2. Later that morning I was told the the hotel had changed its policy since I made my reservation but that the $30 charge would be removed from my bill and that we would be served our free Continental Breakfast, not on the mezzanine, but in the Hotel Bar/Restaurant.

4. Though Priceline agreed to refund us the full amount as long as Madison would not charge Priceline, the hotel manager would not agree to refund Priceline, hence, we wouldn't get the full money back.

9. This was not an optional charge, so I don't understand why they don't just add it to the room rate - after all, this hotel is not exactly cheap, so another $10 is not going to make much of a difference.
