1. Hotel was in a great location for walking around the city , 2 blocks from Beale St , one block from the Peabody , one block to the river cruise and Mcewans bar next door was a great place to get a meal in the evenings.

5. I noticed a lot of people talked about the danger of downtown Memphis in other reviews, hey you are near bars and will run upon the occasional drunk, but the hotel does a very good job keeping that away.
