1. Tips: There is a decent Thai restaurant about a 20min walk along the boulevarde called The Palms.

6. As many of the other reviews mentioned, there is a mall right at the corner of Hollywood and Highland that has a bunch of great restaurants to eat at (we tried the Japanese place Koji's which was very good and also ate at U Wink) and a bunch of shopping if you left anything you need at home.

7. The dining room is tiny compared to the size of the hotel and there were no tables free, I got barged out the way by 2 lots of people who bagged tables that should have been mine as I arrived at the restaurant first, it really is a free for all.
