2. We spent 3 nights here which was about two too many since the area has few decent bars or restaurants and is full of people on the scrounge - panhandlers, nut jobs and 'servers' who spend more time telling you about their 'gratuities policy' than getting your order right.

4. The drive from LAX to the hotel seemed 'hit or miss'; barred windows, street signs heavily laden with graffiti, definitely a strange vibe.
