3. Other than no elevators to our room, we have no complaints!- safe car parking, with it's own garage- walking distance (less than 5 mins) to Kodak theatre, Chinese theatre etc- stayed in the smallest room, but good enough for 2 people- great housekeeping daily- got a fantastic introduction about the area when we checked in- wifi.

4. The service only got better from there over our 4-day stay - from the delivery of free snacks and DVDs to our room, the prompt housekeeping staff, to the helpfulness of the staff in giving us public transit and walking directions and recommendations of things to do on our stay, I couldn't rate this hotel more highly.

5. Some of the housekeeping was a little spacey - plenty of forks and knives in the utensil drawer but no spoons, no glasses replaced one day, no bath mat another day.

7. The staff were fantastic - from the security guard, to housekeeping, to the front desk - and were happy to provide directions to notable spots like the Hollywood sign (although they neglected to mention the three mile hike up the hill to get the best pictures!).
