3. This was Hotel #30 and the last hotel we stayed at on 10 week trek across the USA from Australia From the complimentary glass of Lemonade at check in, to their willingness to assist you in anything you needed went above and beyond our expectations.

4. Just having that offered to us was pretty special as were were totally stuffed from our long flight & the thought of having to hang around waiting for the correct check-in was quite daunting.

6. Check-in was very friendly, with loads of great advice offered to maximise our stay, including maps, restaurant tips and advice on how to get to places such as Universal Studios (one stop on the subway) and where best to view the famous Hollywood sign.

9. Match that with a glass of cold, sparkling, Italian lemon soda served in a champagne flute to welcome you at the check-in desk to sip while completing the normal boring paperwork and I daresay, even the road warriors among us will soften.
