1. Immediate area not so great, but there are good options for shopping/restaurants north of the hotel, and about 12 or so miles to the south, Sugar Land offers some nice dining/shopping options as well, including a Whole Foods.

5. Friendliness goes A LONG WAY these days, and they are so nice at the desk, the restaurant, and even the manager(s) who greet you at the elevators to ask how your day was or wishing you safe travels or a nice evening.

6. Also, they had free coffee in the lobby a few of the days and we also got some for free to-go from the restaurant - again, they were friendly about that too.

7. While it is only a couple of miles from where I had a meeting the next day in the Galleria area, the neighborhood is run down with few decent restaurants in the area.

8. The front desk clerks, security, and managers were very helpful when my car battery died, they answered any questions I had, and provided me with information on where the good restaurants were in the area.
