4. Upon calling, I had to wait on hold for a manager just to find someone who understood the concept that I had been double-charged, who in turn, also tried to charge me for the bottle of water I didn't drink.

5. At check out, the front desk attempted to charge my credit card for the room, until I reminded them that the trip was already pre-paid in full via Expedia.

6. My only complaint is that upon check out, I learned that the valet parking wasn't free (since there was no other option--no free lot in which I could have parked my own car, I thought it was a little sneaky to charge $21 + tax for something that was mandatory).

7. It was clean and in good condition, although the couch bothered my wife and mine`s allergies (we`re allergic to dogs and the hotel does allow pets though they charge a fee for cleanup after they leave).

8. Valet parking is the only option, seems to be the norm in Houston, there is a $22 charge each day, but they were very quick and courteous about it.

10. no one is in charge, you can do whatever you want here, pay lots to do it, and not receive any hospitality during it.
