1. My only negative is the beds are a little uncomfortable and noisy other than that a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

2. I love historic hotels, and safety, cleanliness, centrality, and affordability will often make me tolerate more 'funkiness' than the next traveler, but I'm afraid that I cannot recommend this hotel in Downtown Detroit.

8. About the only persons I would recommend this hotel to would be a group of guys interested in a baseball game, some bar hopping, and some cheap lodging - provided they were current on all of their vaccinations.
