lobby
was lovely, and full of the fascinating history of this almost 100-year-old hotel, but the room we stayed in for 3 nights looked as if it had been 'renovated' and painted by your nephew who you're trying to keep off the streets.

Built in 1917 as the Henry Clay (
lobby
still has original tile and stained glass windows) it remains a classic with lots of character.
