3. We paid a little more than we normally would have for a Holiday Inn, but since it was a special event weekend, this was to be expected and we were happy to be downtown and near the People Mover to get back and forth to the games.

4. The Mariott at Centerpoint Parkway, or Mariott chains at that same Parkway The Dearborn Inn and the Holiday Inn Express at Dearborn are all nice, clean and safe choices and worth driving in rather than staying right downtown.
